CD 1: Starting with ABAP™ - The Basics

The CD 1 presents a selection of ABAP™ commands which allow you to program easy reports very soon in the initial learning phase. .
About 30 course hours , approx. 2.900 text objects and 'Debugger Simulation' for 130 ABAP™ programs are available.

CD 2: Extension of language range and application |

The CD 2 consists of a selection of ABAP™ commands, which allow (together with CD 1) you to also program bigger reports of an intermediate level.
About 24 course hours , approx. 1.940 text objects and 'Debugger Simulation' for 77 ABAP™ programs are available.

CD 3: More commands for efficient programming

The interactive learn system on CD 3 shows you how to work with the extensive "SELECT command group ..." in connection with the R/3® database. Further the knowledge of the system internal representation of variables of different data types is expanded.
About 32 course hours , approx. 2.900 text objects and 'Debugger Simulation' for 140 ABAP™ programs are available.

CD 4: Field symbols, SELECT clauses and list commands etc.

The CD 4 focuses among other things on the use of field symbols. Here you will find a powerful feature to work with variables. Further the typical commands for the report list processing, data gathering, comparing of different variable types and so forth are described.
About 28 course hours , approx. 2.500 text objects and 'Debugger Simulation' for 118 ABAP™ programs are available.

CD 5: Additional address commands, bit operations, datasets ...

The CD 5 focuses on external calls and connections of the R/3® system. For example accessing external data on the server and on the client or calling external programs in a static/dynamic way. Further the last details of using field symbols are described and it is shown how to create and generate new reports in an indirect way.
About 25 course hours , approx. 2.000 text objects and 'Debugger Simulation' for 70 ABAP™ programs are available.

With the CT-Debug Simulator it is now for the first
time possible to gather ABAP™ practice without
having direct contact to an SAP® system. Learn how the theory is realized, watch the program flow and analyze the list output. At first the syntax of each command is illustrated in the course module. Then one can start a debugging session which simulate the program flow of suitable report examples with additional overlay information.
In the debugging mode every command of the report examples can be executed in a single step mode. (Forward- and Backward Debugging ).
No other ABAP ™ CBT course has such a simulation tool. Here are some information:
- Simulate program debugging on the home PC,
- Single step debugging (forward and backwards),
- Jump-To-Form, Jump-To-End,
- Automatic call of overlay drawings during the debugging (for a better understanding),
- Through double click up to 50 variables with their content can be displayed in the watch window,
- Up to 50 break points can be set,
- Adjustable syntax highlighting of the source-code leads to a structured view,
- Display of report list results in html format (to check the result).

Enlarge screenshot Independently of the complex technology requirements of the SAP® System you can run the simulation on your (Home) PC. After that you are ready for programming jobs directly at the SAP® System.
The eLearning system uses a modern GUI library with 9 different layouts and designs. The installation process depends on the release and takes about 5 minutes. Information about the system requirements can be found here.
